Nghe An: Police discovered more than 1,000 wild birds slaughtered in a restaurant
(Baonghean.vn) - All wild birds have been slaughtered and frozen to prepare dishes for diners but have no expiration date.
On the evening of December 13, 2018, the Economic Police Team of Vinh City PoliceChecked at Dong Que specialty restaurant on Pham Hong Thai street, Vinh Tan ward, Vinh city, owned by Mr. Hoang Van Thanh (born in 1975), residing in Hung Binh ward.

Authorities discovered that the restaurant's freezers contained more than 1,000 wild birds (300 kg), including species such as storks, herons, waterfowl, etc. that had been slaughtered and some bird species that are banned from hunting and trading.
At the police station, Mr. Thanh confessed to having purchased the above mentioned wild birds from people who specialized in hunting and trapping birds in the surrounding areas of Vinh city.

All of the above mentioned wild birds were slaughtered and frozen to prepare dishes for diners but have no expiration date.
The Vinh City Police Economic Police Team has drawn up a record to seize all the exhibits and completed the file to handle the violation according to the provisions of law.
