In addition, the market management agency also focuses on inspecting and controlling the production and trade of counterfeit, poor quality, and expired goods for essential goods with high consumer demand during Tet. These products include food, candy, MSG, alcohol, consumer goods as well as goods of fake origin that affect the interests of consumers and legitimate businesses.

In particular, the management agency emphasized the need to coordinate with functional forces to focus on wholesale markets, supermarkets, and frozen goods warehouses. At the same time, inspections will be conducted at units importing and trading frozen foods and establishments producing and trading street foods. Items that need to be focused on inspection include alcohol, beer, soft drinks, milk and dairy products, cakes, candies, vegetable oils, starches and flour products; food, frozen foods (including imported and domestically produced), fresh foods, processed foods, vegetables and fruits with residual preservatives; smuggled livestock, poultry and livestock products, not yet quarantined, contaminated with microorganisms...
In addition, the market management agency will also check for signs of speculation, hoarding, illegal price increases, or the measurement of goods (weighing, measuring, packaging), declaration of goods quality, labeling of goods by wholesale and retail production and business establishments. This activity aims to detect price fraud or the use of measurement and packaging to increase prices; check and control the implementation of legal regulations on prices, price posting and selling at listed prices, etc.
