Mountainous people in Nghe An caught a fish weighing more than 100kg.
(Baonghean.vn) - While fishing at Xoong Con Hydroelectric Lake, a group of young people in Xoong Con village, Tam Thai commune (Tuong Duong) were lucky to catch a 1.8 m long, 12 kg fish.
Mr. Vi Van Thin, resident of Xoong Con village, Tam Thai commune, Tuong Duong, said: On the afternoon of December 13, while going fishing with many other people in the commune because the Xoong Con hydropower plant was blocking the water flow, he and a group of friends in the same village caught a catfish weighing more than 12 kg and measuring more than 1.8 m long.

After hearing that Mr. Thin and his friends caught a giant catfish, many curious people came to see. Someone offered to buy it for 8.4 million VND, and Mr. Thin and his friends agreed to sell.
