Warm gifts for poor students in mountainous areas

(Baonghean.vn) - On December 16, many units and organizations returned to the highlands of Nghe An, bringing meaningful gifts to students facing many difficulties.

* Morning of December 16,State Audit Union Region IIorganized the program "Warm winter clothes" at Don Phuc Kindergarten, Don Phuc commune, Con Cuong district. Here, the State Audit Union Region II presented 210 gifts, including warm clothes, blankets, slippers, candy and 50 new sets of clothes to students in difficult circumstances, with a total value of more than 25 million VND.

This is the amount of money donated by the State Audit Union members of Region II, showing their solidarity, love and sharing with the community, with the hope of giving more strength to the children to continue going to school.

Don Phuc Commune Kindergarten currently has 1 main school and 4 satellite schools. Most of the children here are ethnic minorities and their lives are still facing many difficulties.

On this occasion, the delegation presented 350 sets of warm clothes, warm blankets and some other necessities to the students of the school, worth more than 50 million VND. These gifts are intended to help "warm" the students of My Ly 1 Primary School this winter, as well as help them overcome difficulties to study well.

On this occasion, the delegation presented 120 gifts, including 80 gifts (each gift included blankets, warm clothes, and shirts) for families in difficult circumstances in Tan Son and Cua Rao villages, and 50 gifts (each gift included a warm coat) for students of Mon Son Kindergarten.

*Red Cross Society of Trung Hoa Ward, Cau Giay District - Hanoi with Tam Duc ClubCoordinated with Anh Son District Police to organize gift giving for ethnic minorities in Phuc Son and Cam Son communes (Anh Son).

On this occasion, the delegation presented 150 gifts worth 75 million VND to poor ethnic minority people in Anh Son district. Of these, 120 gifts (including warm clothes, rice, cooking oil, fish sauce, candy worth 500,000 VND) were given to poor households in Cao Veu border village, Phuc Son commune and 30 gifts were given to people in Cam Hoa village, Cam Son commune.
