Emotional sharing of Vietnamese player's victory with 4-year-old boy with brain cancer
The first sharing after the victory of the Vietnamese team at the AFF Cup 2018 of Quang Hai and Bui Tien Dung to the boy with brain cancer moved many people.
On the morning of December 16, midfielder Nguyen Quang Hai shared a status on Facebook about the image of holding the AFF Cup 2018 gold cup with a message to the boy Tom - a young fan with brain cancer in the program Wish No. 7. It was Tom's strong will and intense love for football that brought readers an extremely touching story.

Not only midfielder Quang Hai but goalkeeper Bui Tien Dung also sent Tom words of encouragement: "Football is not just football. Football is life, faith and hope. Miracles are real, miracles will happen when we have faith and optimism. Tom, be strong and have faith, my son.”

Tom, the 4-year-old boy, is the character in the program Wish No. 7, which was broadcast on the morning of December 15, before the final of the AFF Cup 2018. Tom's story, along with the appearance of 4 players: Quang Hai, Bui Tien Dung, Van Hau, and Ha Duc Chinh, brought the television audience an unforgettable impression.
At 33 months old, Tom was diagnosed with a malignant brain tumor. Since the diagnosis, Tom has undergone 16 radiation treatments, 2 major surgeries, and been in a coma for nearly a month.
Despite having a serious illness, the boy's love for football is not inferior to anyone else. In the program, Tom freely expressed his passion for football and his feelings for the players in the Vietnam U23 team.
