Localities hold year-end People's Council meetings
(Baonghean.vn) - On the morning of December 18, many localities in the province opened the year-end People's Council meeting to assess the implementation of tasks in all areas in 2018, the direction and tasks for 2019; and review and approve a number of reports at the meeting.

The People's Council of Yen Thanh district, term XIX, 2016-2021, opened its 8th session. In 2018, Yen Thanh district focused on leading, directing, and performing well its tasks, completing 26/26 socio-economic development targets for 2018; of which, 11 targets exceeded the set plan: Economic growth rate reached 9.16%, the highest ever, the structure shifted in the right direction, and average income per capita reached over 38 million VND.

Quynh Luu: 29/33 expected targets achieved and exceeded the plan
On the same morning, the People's Council of Quynh Luu district, term XIX, 2016 - 2021, opened its 8th session.In 2018, Quynh Luu district is expected to have 13/33 targets exceeding the plan, 16/33 targets meeting the plan and 4/33 targets not meeting the plan.

Specifically, the total value of agricultural, forestry and fishery production of Quynh Luu district is estimated at 1,171 billion VND, up 10.58% over the same period, industry - construction reached nearly 2,047 billion VND, up 10.55% over the same period; services reached 2,388 billion VND, up 11.9% over the same period.
Culture and society have many positive changes. Up to now, the poverty rate is only 1.98%. Total investment resources for new rural construction have reached over 1,268 billion VND; two more communes have been recognized as meeting the standards, including Quynh Yen and Quynh Tam... National defense and security have been basically maintained, social order and safety are guaranteed...
Hung Nguyen: Average income per capita 41 million VND/year
The 19th term People's Council of Hung Nguyen district opened its 7th session for the 2016-2021 term. In 2018, the economic growth rate reached 8.56%. Average income per capita was 41 million VND/year. Total budget revenue in the area managed by the district reached nearly 155 billion VND. Total investment capital reached 2,197 billion VND, an increase of 11.8% over the same period.

On the morning of December 18, the People's Council of Nam Dan district, term XX, 2016-2021, opened its 8th session. In 2018, the economic situation of Nam Dan district continued to grow well with a production value growth rate of 10.3%.

The economic structure shifted in the right direction, reducing the proportion of agriculture, forestry and fishery, increasing the proportion of industry, construction and services. Average income per capita reached 43 million VND, an increase of 7 million VND compared to 2017.
Culture and society have many positive changes; political security is maintained, social order and safety are basically guaranteed. In particular, Nam Dan district has been recognized by the Prime Minister as a district meeting new rural standards.
After reaching the standard, Nam Dan continued to launch the construction of a model new rural district, stepped up the implementation of urban beautification, hamlets, and blocks to be "bright-green-clean-beautiful" and built 399 km of electricity lines, 126 km of flower roads, 102 propaganda clusters and is currently implementing the construction of standard gardens and new rural model gardens, contributing to making the face of the countryside increasingly more innovative and civilized.

Thanh Chuong: Estimated budget revenue reached 135 billion VND
Thanh Cuong District People's Council, 19th term, held its 8th session. In 2018, the growth rate reached 8.6%. Budget revenue exceeded the set plan, estimated to reach over 135 billion VND for the whole year.
During the year, the district witnessed 4 more communes and 7 hamlets reaching the new rural finish line, bringing the total number of communes meeting the new rural standards to 15. The comprehensive quality of education and the quality of key education have changed positively. During the year, 4 more schools met national standards, bringing the total number of schools meeting national standards in the district to 90. The rate of cultural families in 2018 reached over 84.7%.
