Nearly 80 "flyers" tested positive for drugs in a bar

At dawn, when the inspection team raided Bar 162, there were still hundreds of “flyers” swaying to loud music. About 80 “flyers” showing signs of drug use were taken to the headquarters for clarification.

On December 17, Go Vap District Police, Ho Chi Minh City, classified and tested nearly 100 “flyers” for drugs at Bar 162, Nguyen Van Luong, Ward 17, Go Vap District. Through a quick test, nearly 80 “flyers” showed signs of drug use.

Earlier, at around 1:40 a.m. the same day, nearly 100 officers and soldiers from the Go Vap District Police suddenly inspected the above bar. Inside the bar at that time, there were hundreds of "flyers" swaying to loud music, foreign wine tables were scattered, and the space was thick with cigarette smoke.

Drugs and stimulants were found in the bar.

There are nearly 80 "flyers" using drugs.

Discovering the inspection team, hundreds of people threw and pushed tables and chairs to try to escape, however the bar's entrances were guarded by the working groups.

Some “flyers” hastily threw bags containing stimulant drugs on the floor or in a corner in an attempt to destroy the evidence. After screening, 147 “flyers” were taken to the drug testing headquarters by car.

The test results showed that 70 men and 9 women tested positive for drugs. All of these cases were recorded and processed.

Inside the packed band bar, the inspection team discovered a number of drugs and tablets suspected to be ecstasy.

According to an officer in the delegation, this is the 7th time the inspection delegation from Go Vap District Police has inspected bar 162, and each time they have discovered people using drugs and stimulants at the bar.
