Thai villagers in Tuong Duong contributed 1,000 working days to build the road.
(Baonghean.vn) - 85 households in Thai Vang Cuom village, Yen Tinh commune, Tuong Duong district contributed labor days to build a concrete road 250m long, 2.5m wide, 15 - 20cm thick.

From Provincial Road 543C to Vang Cuom Kindergarten (belonging to Yen Tinh Kindergarten) is about 250m long, but the road is small, steep, winding, muddy, slippery in the rainy season, and windy and dusty in the dry season, making it difficult for teachers and students to travel.
Realizing the purpose and significance of road construction to both facilitate the children to go to school and bring a new look to the village. After discussion, 85 households in Vang Cuom village agreed and supported the road construction policy.
People were very active in clearing the land, contributing sand, gravel, and labor to build the road; in particular, some commune leaders also participated in carrying materials and pouring concrete with the people.

To construct this road, the entire village was mobilized on the first day, and the remaining days were divided into two groups to construct on alternate days, with one group working and the other resting. This reasonable arrangement ensured the construction schedule was met while not affecting the people's work and production. Therefore, the people responded enthusiastically.
Comrade Nguyen Huu Hue - Vice Chairman of Yen Tinh Commune People's Committee said:“Not only did people contribute materials, they also contributed about 1,000 working days to complete this road. It is expected that this road will be completed by December 21.”
