(Baonghean.vn) - That is the result of handling complaints and denunciations achieved in 2017 by administrative agencies across the country, as stated at the training course "Training on receiving, processing, and using people's feedback to contribute to improving the effectiveness of administrative reform" held on December 22.

The training course was organized by the Provincial People's Committee Office in coordination with the RALG Project Management Board (Department of Planning and Investment) to help cadres, civil servants and public employees have full and correct awareness in the reasonable use of people's feedback, contributing to improving the effectiveness of administrative reform.

Attending the training course were comrade Bui Nguyen Suy - former Deputy Head of the People's Aspirations Committee - National Assembly Standing Committee, leaders of provincial departments, branches, and district People's Committees.

The training content has clarified the importance of receiving and handling feedback from citizens through citizen reception. The process of receiving and listening to feedback from citizens and organizations on issues that are still inadequate in the state apparatus that affect the rights and interests of the people.

In addition, comrade Bui Nguyen Suy also shared and clarified topics related to receiving, handling and regulations on people's feedback; skills in directing and managing the settlement of mass complaints; receiving, handling and complaining about responses to voters' petitions; and handling information reflecting people's current corruption.

According to the statistics reported in 2017, state administrative agencies received 352,102 citizens coming to complain, denounce, petition, and reflect (down 8.5% compared to 2016), with 220,015 cases, including 4,621 large groups (up 10.2%). Of which, 26,120/31,142 cases of complaints and denunciations under their authority were resolved, reaching a rate of 83.9%. Thereby, recommendations were made to recover for the State, return to collectives and individuals 54.2 billion VND, 32.7 hectares of land; protect the rights of 1,634 collectives and individuals; and recommend handling of administrative violations of 416 people.

Through the training course, the trainees were updated with the most basic and latest knowledge on receiving and handling feedback from the people, contributing to improving the effectiveness of administrative reform. Thereby, they can handle violations of the law well and effectively prevent violations of the law.
