The first market in the farthest commune of Nghe An
(Baonghean.vn) - On December 22, Nhon Mai border commune (Tuong Duong - Nghe An) organized a local goods market. This was the first market in this remote area, so it attracted a large number of people in the area to participate.

From early morning, people from Nhon Mai villages and other communes in the area came to buy, sell and exchange goods. At the market, each village, agency, unit and school in the commune was arranged a booth.
The goods sold are mainly local products such as: black chicken, black pig, squash, taro, ginger, passion fruit, brocade... In addition, the market also has a number of stalls selling traditional culinary products of ethnic groups living in the area (Mong, Thai, Kho Mu).

The fair is held as an opportunity for the people of Nhon Mai and neighboring communes to introduce traditional local products. From there, it contributes to creating more jobs and increasing income for workers, stimulating the development of agricultural and rural production, improving the quality and design of products, maintaining and developing traditional crafts.
It is known that the market in Nhon Mai commune will be held on the 15th day of the lunar calendar every month.
