Expressing his joy on the occasion of Christmas, Provincial Party Secretary Nguyen Dac Vinh affirmed that the Party and State always respect the right to choose faith and religion of all citizens. Provincial Party Secretary Nguyen Dac Vinh emphasized that the good values of Catholicism are not only reserved for the Catholic community of 290,000 people but have increasingly spread and become a universal element in social life in Nghe An. The interweaving of faith in God and the country's traditional moral values have blended together to create a spiritual and cultural space for the people.

Delighted with the changes in Trai Gao parish, the Provincial Party Secretary acknowledged the positive contributions of Catholic dignitaries and parishioners to the overall development of the province; many outstanding Catholic personalities, intellectuals, and businessmen have accompanied the cause of innovation, industrialization, and modernization of the country. The Provincial Party Secretary hopes that priest Nguyen Van Hieu and other dignitaries and officials will continue to make efforts and make many contributions to constantly consolidate and strengthen the great national unity bloc, for the growth of the homeland.

Sharing with Provincial Party Secretary Nguyen Dac Vinh and members of the delegation, priest Nguyen Van Hieu - Deputy Director of Trai Gao pilgrimage center thanked the deep concern of Provincial Party Secretary Nguyen Dac Vinh personally as well as the Provincial Party Committee, People's Committee, and Provincial Fatherland Front Committee for Trai Gao parish and Catholics.
Priest Nguyen Van Hieu said that Trai Gao sanctuary is the main pilgrimage center of Vinh Diocese. For many years, this place has become a destination not only for Catholics but also attracts a large number of people from all over to visit. Priest Nguyen Van Hieu affirmed that the growth of Trai Gao sanctuary has very practical and important support from the Party committees and authorities of the province and locality. On the occasion of Christmas 2018, Priest Nguyen Van Hieu also sent his best wishes to Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee Nguyen Dac Vinh and the members of the delegation.
