(Baonghean.vn) - On December 24th and 25th, the inspection team from the Nghe An Department of Education and Training, responsible for recognizing districts' achievements in universal education and literacy eradication, held a working session with Nghia Dan district to assess the district's situation regarding universal education and literacy eradication.

By 2018, Nghia Dan district had 25 kindergartens, 26 primary schools, and 16 secondary schools. Of these, 17 kindergartens, 24 primary schools, 7 secondary schools, and 2 high schools were recognized as meeting national standards. Nghia Dan has promoted the socialization of education, gradually strengthening the infrastructure to serve teaching and learning; 100% of schools have eliminated temporary classrooms, and some secondary schools have at least two standard-compliant practical laboratories...
The literacy rate across all age groups has been achieved, with 97.92% of children aged 6-14, 99.46% of those aged 15-25, and 97.96% of those aged 15-60.

In Nghia Dan district, the inspection team from the Provincial Department of Education and Training announced the decision to establish an inspection team on universal education and literacy eradication. After hearing a report on the universal education work in Nghia Dan district, the team conducted on-site inspections in three localities to assess the situation of universal education and literacy eradication in Nghia Dan district.
In conclusion, the inspection team recognized Nghia Dan as having achieved level 2 in literacy eradication, universal preschool education for children over 5 years old, level 3 in primary education, and level 3 in lower secondary education.
