This is the largest football event on the planet, held in Qatar in 2022. A series of stadiums have been renovated and built by the host country.

1.Al Wakrah Stadium

Al Wakrah Stadium was inspired by the sails of Arabian fishermen when they went out to sea to catch fish and pearls. It was designed by British architect Dame Zaha.

With a capacity of up to 40,000 people, this is the pride and heritage of the coastal city of Doha. This stadium regularly hosts events all year round, whether the weather is scorching hot or freezing cold outside, it doesn't matter much inside.

2.Al Bayt Stadium

Not far from Doha, the Al Bayt Stadium has a capacity of up to 60,000 people, designed by architect Dar Al-Handasah. This is the place to host the semi-final matches of the World Cup.

The stadium, built with funding from the Aspire Zone fund, is shaped like a traditional Arabian tent called a 'bayt al sha'ar'. Since temperatures in Qatar can reach 30 degrees Celsius even in November, it will act as a heat-retaining roof.

3.Al Rayyan Stadium

With a capacity of about 40,000 people, designed by architect Ramboll. It can be said that this is a place that shows the strong culture of the Qatari people. Al Rayyan is located near the desert, so from a distance it looks like a sparkling sand dune.

4.Education City Stadium

This is the stadium where the quarter-final matches will be held. It is shaped like a diamond, hence its nickname “the diamond in the desert”. FIA architect Fenwick Iribarren designed it to sparkle during the day and shine brightly at night. The capacity of this stadium is 40,000 people.

5.Al Thumama Stadium

With a capacity of 40,000, it was inspired by the 'gahfiya', a traditional woven hat worn by Middle Eastern men, by Ibrahim Al Jaidah.

6. Ras Abu Aboud Stadium

A special feature of this stadium is that people can see the Doha Corniche and the skyline, and it also has beautiful promenades at night.

Architects Fenwick Iribarren used 998 shipping containers to transport various materials and can be easily dismantled after the matches are over. The venue has a capacity of 40,000 people.

7. Lusail Stadium

The architects Foster and Partners are responsible for the design of the Lusail Stadium. The capacity of this place is 80,000 people. Although there is not much information about this stadium, after the simulation images appeared, everyone admired its luxury and magnificence.
