Collected 10 billion VND from traffic safety violation fines in 3 months
(Baonghean.vn) - After 3 months of peak operation, Nghe An Provincial Police force recorded 1,814 violations, collecting nearly 10 billion VND for the State budget.
During the 3 peak months (September to December), Nghe An Provincial Police organized 354 patrols with 3,719 officers and soldiers participating.

Determined to restore order and traffic safety on a number of key routes, three special task forces including Traffic Police, Mobile Police, 113 Police, and Public Order Police conducted 24/7 closed patrols on routes N5, D4, Provincial Road 538B, and National Highway 1A.
Focusing on detecting and handling major violations including: speeding, carrying goods exceeding the size of the wall or container, carrying goods exceeding the permitted load, arbitrarily modifying the vehicle's technical design, extending the wall or container, not obeying traffic lights...
After the patrol and control process, the police force recorded 1,814 cases, including 121 passenger cars, 1,363 trucks, 318 cars, and 527 overloaded vehicles. Regarding violations, there were 112 vehicles violating the size limit, 459 vehicles violating the speed limit, and 54 vehicles arbitrarily extending the cargo bed...As of December 15, 114 cars have been impounded. Overloaded vehicles have been forced to be seriously and promptly repaired.
