(Baonghean.vn) - Mr. Do Quang Que (residing in Nghia Thang commune, Nghia Dan - Nghe An) said that the total damage from 7 times of vandalism was about 370 million VND.

Mr. Que (born in 1971) is the owner of a fruit farm in Rai hamlet, Nghia Thang commune, Nghia Dan district.

Mr. Que said that his family had been vandalized 7 times, with an area of ​​about 2 hectares of orange and guava trees planted for more than 1.5 years. The vandalism is estimated to have caused his family about 370 million VND in damage.

The first time was on April 4, 2018, when thieves chopped down 63 orange and guava trees. The most recent time was around 5:30 p.m. on December 23, when the couple returned home from the farm for some work.

When I returned to the farm at around 8:30 pm, the three-room house was burned to the ground. All the belongings such as motorbikes, beds, TVs, tables and chairs were burned and the garden was completely destroyed.

Mr. Que was upset that his family's efforts over the years of planting and caring for the crops had been in vain and he affirmed that his family had no conflicts with anyone. The family hoped that the law enforcement agencies would soon find the culprit and handle him strictly according to the law.

Mr. Le Van Luong - Chief of Nghia Thang Commune Police confirmed the above incident and said that Mr. Que is a resident of Doc Cao block, Thai Hoa town, bought land in Rai hamlet, Nghia Thang commune to open a farm.

Mr. Nguyen Canh Duan - Vice Chairman of Nghia Thang Commune People's Committee said that the local government has directed the police force and self-management groups to increase patrols at night.
