Units and organizations give Tet gifts in Truong Sa
(Baonghean.vn) - On the afternoon of January 4, at Cam Ranh Military Port (Khanh Hoa), the Naval Region 4 Command held a ceremony to change troops, see off ships, and give Tet gifts to soldiers and people of Truong Sa district.

In addition to the necessities provided according to regulations of the Ministry of National Defense, this trip also brought hundreds of tons of Tet gifts from domestic units and localities to the soldiers and people of Truong Sa island district.
At the ship farewell ceremony, Mr. Nguyen Dac Tai - Vice Chairman of Khanh Hoa Provincial People's Committee hoped that the army and people of Truong Sa would always promote the tradition of "fighting bravely, being proactively united, overcoming difficulties, and maintaining the sovereignty" of the sea, islands, and continental shelf of the Fatherland.

As a tradition, on the occasion of preparing for the traditional New Year, the Naval Region 4 Command organizes a working group to inspect, visit, and encourage soldiers and people of Truong Sa island district and organizes the replacement and collection of troops according to plan.

At exactly 4:00 p.m., after completing the necessary procedures, the three ships HQ 561, HQ 571 and KN 491 departed one after another. The soldiers who went to the island this time had just completed a year-long training course on the mainland.

“This trip of yours once again affirms the deep concern of the Party, State and people of the whole country for the cause of protecting the sacred sovereignty of the sea and islands of the Fatherland in general, and for the growth and development of the army and people of Truong Sa district in particular,” said the Vice Chairman of the Khanh Hoa Provincial People's Committee, adding that such sentiments are truly a great source of encouragement for the army and people of Truong Sa island district to overcome all difficulties, hardships and dangers, to unite as one, and stand firm at the forefront of the storm.
