Taking advantage of the fact that there were no adults at home, Viet stabbed Tr., seriously injuring him, and took his Nokia cell phone and an 18K gold necklace.

On the morning of January 5, Phu Vang District Police (Thua Thien Hue Province) announced that they had arrested Nguyen Van Viet (34 years old, residing in Ke Sung village, Phu Dien commune, Phu Vang district) to investigate and clarify the robbery case.

Previously, at around 5:00 p.m. on January 4, discovering that the Dai Phuoc pawn shop located on National Highway 49B (through Ke Sung Thuong village, Phu Dien commune) owned by Mr. Nguyen Dai Son had no one watching it, only a child, Nguyen Thi T. Tr. (10 years old, Mr. Son's daughter) was home alone, so Viet immediately pretended to be a pawn shop owner to steal property.

When entering the pawn shop, taking advantage of the fact that there were no adults in the house, Viet went to the kitchen to get a Thai knife, then stabbed Tr. twice in the stomach, causing serious injuries, and took his Nokia cell phone and an 18K gold necklace before fleeing.

After discovering the incident, Tr. was transferred to Hue Central Hospital for emergency treatment in critical condition.

Upon receiving the news, Phu Dien Commune Police and Phu Vang District Police quickly arrived at the scene to investigate and clarify the incident.

By using professional measures, at 10:00 p.m. on January 4, Phu Vang District Police arrested Viet at the suspect's house, about 2 km from the crime scene.
