Welcoming and working with the delegation on the side of Nghe An province were comrades: Nguyen Dac Vinh - Member of the Party Central Committee, Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee, Head of the Provincial National Assembly Delegation, Secretary of the Provincial Military Party Committee; Le Minh Thong - Member of the Provincial Party Standing Committee, Vice Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee; Colonel Tran Van Hung - Member of the Provincial Party Standing Committee, Commander of the Provincial Military Command, along with commanders and officers of the Provincial Military Command.

In 2018, the Provincial Military Command continued to advise the Provincial Party Committee and the Provincial People's Committee on many important issues, contributing to socio-economic development, strengthening national defense and security; at the same time, proactively leading, directing, and organizing the implementation of military-defense tasks and tasks assigned by superiors. As a result, in 2018, the Provincial Military Command was awarded the Emulation Flag by the Provincial People's Committee for its leading achievements in the patriotic emulation movement.

In 2019, the Provincial Military Command continued to thoroughly grasp and study the resolutions of the Party Central Committee, the Politburo (12th tenure), the resolutions of the Central Military Commission, the Directives of the Ministry of National Defense, and the Military Region on military and defense tasks associated with promoting the study and following of Ho Chi Minh's ideology, morality, and lifestyle; at the same time, advise the Party Committee and the government to lead and direct the organization to successfully complete the military and defense tasks of the province in 2019.

The unit focuses on maintaining strict combat readiness; closely coordinating with other forces, proactively grasping the situation, forecasting, and promptly advising on handling situations related to political security, social order and safety, natural disaster prevention and control, search and rescue, and avoiding being passive or surprised;...

Colonel Tran Van Hung also reported to Deputy Minister Phan Van Giang about the preparations for the Lunar New Year of the Pig by officers and soldiers, contributing to ensuring peace for people to enjoy Spring and celebrate the traditional New Year; the work of supporting and caring for the poor...

Speaking at the meeting, Senior Lieutenant General Phan Van Giang acknowledged the results of the province's military and defense tasks achieved in 2018 and requested Nghe An province to continue creating conditions for the provincial Military Command to perform its tasks well.

Regarding the tasks in the coming time, the Chief of the General Staff of the Ministry of National Defense suggested that the Provincial Military Command continue to perform well the assigned tasks, focusing on performing well the military recruitment work; paying attention to training the militia and self-defense force and the reserve mobilization force.

In particular, Senior Lieutenant General Phan Van Giang emphasized the need to pay attention to the work of building discipline and training the unit; training and promoting the qualities of Uncle Ho's soldiers - a noble title that people honor when talking about the army.

On the occasion of the Lunar New Year, on behalf of the Central Military Commission, the Ministry of National Defense, and the General Staff of the Vietnam People's Army, Senior Lieutenant General Phan Van Giang sent New Year greetings to Nghe An province, officers and soldiers of the provincial Military Command, and believed that they would achieve more success than in 2018.

On behalf of the Provincial Party Standing Committee, Provincial Party Secretary Nguyen Dac Vinh respectfully thanked Senior Lieutenant General Phan Van Giang for taking the time to visit and encourage officers and soldiers of the Nghe An Provincial Military Command.

The Provincial Party Secretary sincerely thanked the Central Military Commission and the Ministry of National Defense for their attention to Nghe An province in general and the provincial military force in particular; at the same time, he affirmed that the provincial Party Committee and government will always closely lead and create all conditions for the provincial military force to effectively perform its tasks; build the provincial Military Command in the right spirit: discipline, order, and excellent completion of assigned tasks.
