Norwegian Defense Minister Says War Could Break Out in Europe
Norwegian Defense Minister Frank Bakke-Jensen admitted that there is a possibility of war breaking out between European countries. He stated this in a speech at a session of the Norwegian Military Association.

Mr Bakke-Jensen said a potential conflict could have serious consequences for the Nordic countries.
"Overall, the development of events in the current environment shows that we must know that armed conflict between countries in Europe is no longer unthinkable," Mr. Bakke-Jensen emphasized.
Norway's defense budget has increased by about 30 percent over the past five years, and this growth will continue, Minister Bakke-Jensen said.
