Vu's network spans many provinces and cities. Among them, many accounts directly traded with Vu amounting to hundreds of billions of dong.

On the evening of January 8, dozens of scouts from Room 4 and special forces of the mobile police divided into many attack groups. Identifying that Vu and his group of trusted followers had taken a flight from Phu Quoc (Kien Giang) to Tan Son Nhat after a trip to have fun and collect money on the pearl island, the scouts coordinated with aviation security to arrest them right at the airport.

At the same time, task forces simultaneously raided 14 locations of Vu's followers in Ho Chi Minh City, Binh Duong, Kien Giang... catching them red-handed placing bets and betting online. The investigation agency seized many computers, phones, documents related to gambling and organizing gambling, 3 cars, nearly 800 million VND...

Initially, Vu did not admit to his actions; he did not reveal the passwords of his phone, computer, accounts... related to his illegal activities. However, his close followers confessed to all the gambling, loan sharking, and debt collection, consistent with the seized documents.

"This criminal gang operates very professionally. During this peak period of crime suppression, we will crack down on the remaining gangs, ensuring security, order and safety for the people," said the leader of Room 4.

The Ministry of Public Security is coordinating with police in many provinces and cities to expand the investigation and summon a series of people involved in this gambling ring.
