Specifically, to ensure safety in vaccination, the District Health Center recommends that the Commune Health Stations, in the morning before administering the vaccine to children, medical staff need to shake and observe the ComBE Five vaccine vial before use, to have appropriate time to monitor adverse events after vaccination; pre-vaccination screening must comply with the indications/contraindications/postponements according to the regulations of the Ministry of Health on guidelines for pre-vaccination screening for children. In addition, it is necessary to fully advise and instruct parents on what to do to ensure safety when vaccinating children.
At the same time, strengthen inspection and supervision of vaccination sessions, especially supervision and support in disadvantaged communes with vaccination points outside the station or far from the center; ensure proper implementation of safe vaccination procedures. Stations and medical staff increase propaganda to parents about the switch to using ComBE Five vaccine, the safety of the vaccine, possible reactions, and proper care of children after vaccination; to avoid the situation where parents lack information about ComBE Five vaccination and do not take their children for full vaccination.

Doctor Vu Hong Quang - Director of Quynh Luu Medical Center said: "ComBE Five vaccine, abbreviated as "5 in 1 vaccine", has been inspected and licensed by the Ministry of Health, and is provided free of charge by the state to children according to regulations, to vaccinate against 5 diseases: diphtheria, whooping cough, tetanus, hepatitis and pneumonia.
Nghe An Health Sector in general and District Health Centers in particular are focusing on preparing well for the first vaccination campaign of 2019, which is also the first ComBE Five vaccination campaign for children in Nghe An. The sector has prepared a plan to handle emergencies at vaccination sites and coordinate with district hospitals to promptly handle cases of severe reactions after vaccination. Parents can rest assured to bring their children for vaccination, to ensure the rights of children."
In the first ComBE Five vaccination campaign in January 2019, only about 67% of the planned vaccines were provided, so the health stations prioritized vaccination for those who were missing the second and third doses; helping children complete their vaccination with this vaccine as soon as possible. Children who received the first dose will be vaccinated when vaccines are still available or when there is a more adequate supply./.
