According to the couple: In 1995, Mr. Ban's family gave birth to Cut Thi Ban. When she was born, she was normal like other children, but after 1 year, she showed signs of slow growth, gradually becoming stunted, her legs were cramped and she could not stand up. Because the family was poor, they did not have money to take her to the hospital. They just left her like that and treated her with folk medicine, so her illness could not be cured.
Then, in 2001, the couple gave birth to Cut Thi Bang. When she was born, she was completely normal, but when she was 1 year old, she showed the same symptoms as her older sister. Then, in 2005, the family gave birth to Cut Ba Hung. After a while, Hung also showed the same symptoms as his two older sisters, gradually becoming stunted and after 2 years still unable to walk or talk. Worried and confused, Mr. Ban decided to discuss with his wife to sell valuables in the house to take his child for treatment, but his condition did not improve.

According to the discharge papers issued by Nghe An Obstetrics and Pediatrics Hospital for Cut Ba Hung on July 25, 2013, Hung suffered from cerebral palsy. The cost of treatment was extremely expensive while the family's circumstances were too difficult, so Mr. Ban and his wife decided to take the child home. Since then, the couple has taken turns staying at home to look after the children. Currently, the children are being cared for by the family, all activities from bathing to eating depend on their parents. The family's already difficult life has become even more difficult and arduous.
Head of Na My village, Muong Tip commune, Mr. Cut Dinh Lam, said: Ban's family is in a very difficult situation, the children are very pitiful, but the villagers are all poor so they cannot help much. We hope that philanthropists and organizations will pay attention to supporting the family, first of all, helping the family build a closed outbuilding to create conditions for the children to live conveniently; then the children can be examined and treated.
