Nghe An Border Guard congratulates the 70th anniversary of the founding of the Lao People's Army
(Baonghean.vn) - On the occasion of the 70th anniversary of the founding of the Lao People's Army (January 20, 1949 - January 20, 2019), the delegation of the Nam Can International Border Guard Station and Ky Son District, led by Lieutenant Colonel Dau Dinh Thanh, Station Chief, visited, presented gifts and congratulated Border Guard Company 221 under the Military Command of Xieng Khouang Province (Laos).
At the meeting, after informing each other about the situation of border protection in the management area, the two sides focused on analyzing and clarifying some outstanding results in the border protection coordination work between the two provinces of the two countries and pointed out the achieved results and limitations that need to be overcome in the coming time to protect the border security sovereignty of each side.

In recent times, the Nam Can International Border Gate Border Post, Nghe An Border Guard and Border Guard Company 221, Xieng Khouang Provincial Military Command have closely coordinated in performing tasks in each side's area, especially in propaganda work to mobilize the people in the border area to strictly comply with the policies of the Party and State of each side.
Organizing regular and surprise bilateral patrols, fighting against all types of crimes, contributing to maintaining political security and social order and safety of each side, building a peaceful, friendly, cooperative and developing border.

On this occasion, the working delegation of the Nam Can International Border Gate Border Post and Ky Son District presented gifts and congratulated the officers and soldiers of Border Guard Company 221 of the Xieng Khouang Provincial Military Command on the occasion of the 70th anniversary of the founding of the Lao People's Army and hoped that in the coming time, the two units will further strengthen cooperation to continuously foster the special feelings between the two units, the two provinces, and the two countries to be forever green and sustainable./.
