(Baonghean.vn) - This afternoon (January 16), at the People's Committee of Nghe An province, an important meeting was held on the issue of sponsorship and transfer of the SLNA football team. In this meeting, many important information about the new sponsor of the Nghe football team was revealed.
According to head coach Nguyen Duc Thang, Bac A Bank is no longer the owner of SLNA Club. The identity of the new sponsor cannot be announced yet because this is an agreed principle.
Currently, the parties involved have not been able to announce the details of the sponsorship package for the Song Lam Nghe An football team for how many years and how much the funding is. However, the head coach of SLNA confirmed that the team will keep the name SLNA.
“We are not allowed to announce information about the sponsor yet. The sponsor will decide when to announce it. The information I have is that the team will keep its traditional name,” said the Nghe An coach.

According to the investigation of Nghe An Newspaper reporter, SLNA's new sponsor is a unit with economic potential and after the official transfer, SLNA Club will have a strong development step with new goals.
“It is not that Bac A Bank is no longer accompanying SLNA, but the 3-year/1-time sponsorship contract has ended. This year is a turning point, requiring the team to retain many players whose contracts have expired. If the pillars cannot be retained, the club will face many difficulties. Therefore, the desire of the Provincial People's Committee is a breakthrough, a new direction from SLNA.
