On the sidelines of the Vietnam Economic Forum 2019 organized by the Government and the Central Economic Commission in Hanoi, on the morning of January 17, Politburo member, Secretary of the Party Central Committee, Head of the Central Economic Commission Nguyen Van Binh received a delegation from the Development Research Center of the State Council of China to Vietnam to attend the Vietnam Economic Forum 2019, led by Deputy Director of the Development Research Center of the State Council of China, Long Quoc Cuong.

Expressing his pleasure at attending the Vietnam Economic Forum 2019, Long Guoqiang, Deputy Director of the Development Research Center of the State Council of China, affirmed that the Party, Government and people of China attach great importance to the relationship with Vietnam; hoping that the leaders of the two Parties and the two countries will continue to pay attention and direct all levels, sectors and localities to continuously strengthen exchanges and cooperation, enhance political trust, and promote the Vietnam - China Comprehensive Strategic Cooperative Partnership to develop positively, healthily, and stably in the long term in the coming time.

At the reception, welcoming the delegation of the Development Research Center of the State Council of China to attend the Vietnam Economic Forum 2019, Head of the Central Economic Commission Nguyen Van Binh emphasized that in the context of the rapidly and complicated developments in the world and region, the cause of building socialism, innovation and international integration, and reform and opening up of the two Parties and two countries is facing many new opportunities as well as challenges.

It is extremely important and practical for the two Parties and countries of Vietnam and China to increase exchanges, learn from each other's experiences, and promote substantive and effective cooperation in all fields.

Head of the Central Economic Commission Nguyen Van Binh affirmed that the Central Economic Commission is ready to continue to closely coordinate with the Development Research Center of the State Council of China, to well implement the important common perception of the high-ranking leaders of the two Parties and two countries, to promote substantive cooperation in all fields, and to deepen the content of the Vietnam-China comprehensive strategic cooperative partnership.
