"If we talk about the Nord Stream 2 issue, I think you know the EC's position well. Our concerns remain, especially regarding the objectives of the Energy Union, regarding the diversification objective, and therefore we insist on full compatibility with European law," Shefchovic told reporters.

The Nord Stream 2 project plans to build two gas pipelines with a total capacity of 55 billion m3gas each year from the Russian coast across the Baltic Sea to Germany.
