(Baonghean.vn) - According to the results of the poll that just ended at 3:00 p.m. today, midfielder Nguyen Quang Hai of the Vietnam National Team convincingly won the award for Best Player of the 2019 Asian Cup group stage.

After the 2019 Asian Cup group stage ended, the Asian Football Confederation announced 10 nominations for the Best Player of the Group Stage award for fans to vote for, including: Salem Al Dawsari (Saudi Arabia), Almoez Ali (Qatar), Ashkan Dejagah (Iran), Yasen Bakheet (Jordan), Nguyen Quang Hai (Vietnam), Kim Min-jae (Korea), Mohanad Ali (Iraq), Awer Mabil (Australia), Yuto Nagatomo (Japan), Eldor Shomurodov (Uzbekistan).

After 4 days of voting on the AFC homepage, there were a total of 1,208,757 votes. According to the results of the voting that just ended at 3:00 p.m. today, midfielder Nguyen Quang Hai of the Vietnam National Team convincingly won the Best Player of the 2019 Asian Cup group stage.

Of which, Quang Hai received 604,167 votes (accounting for 50%, equivalent to 9 other players combined), the person in second place was Ashkan Dejagah of Iran with 462,278. Meanwhile, the third place winner, Eldor Shomurodov of Uzbekistan, only received a total of 73,911 votes.

In addition to winning the 2019 Asian Cup Group Stage Best Player award, Nguyen Quang Hai is also leading another AFC poll for the Group Stage Best Goal award.
