Coach Zidane and Mourinho are in Iran's sights
Spokesperson for the Iranian Ministry of Sports and Youth, Mr. Maziar Nazemi revealed that the three coaches Jose Mourinho, Zidane and Klinsmann have been targeted by the Iranian Football Federation (FFIRI).
Carlos Queiroz has left the Iran national team after the failed 2019 Asian Cup, ending his 8-year association with Team Melli. This was a failed tournament for Iran because the team's number 1 goal was to win the championship but they were defeated by Japan in the semi-finals (lost 0-3).

Immediately after Carlos Queiroz left, FFIRI was actively searching for a talented replacement coach. Revealing on social media, Mr. Maziar Nazemi, spokesman and head of public relations of FFIRI, said that Team Melli will appoint a world-famous coach.
Mr. Maziar Nazemi did not specify the identity of the coach that FFIRI is about to appoint, but revealed that the list of candidates includes three famous coaches: Jose Mourinho, Zidane and Juergen Klinsmann.
According to the Tehran Times, Mr. Maziar Nazemi revealed the above information on behalf of FFIRI and it is true that FFIRI intends to invite Jose Mourinho, Zidane or Juergen Klinsmann. According to this source, it is possible that the unemployed coach Juergen Klinsmann will accept to lead the Iranian national team, but the possibility of Zidane or Jose Mourinho joining hands with FFIRI is not high.
