The delegation of Nghe An province led by comrade Nguyen Dac Vinh - Member of the Party Central Committee, Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee, Head of the Provincial National Assembly Delegation visited comrade Nguyen Duc Binh - former member of the Politburo, former Chairman of the Central Theoretical Council, former Director of the Ho Chi Minh National Academy of Politics in Trung Luong ward, Hong Linh town, Ha Tinh.

Also attending were comrade Le Hong Vinh - Member of the Provincial Party Standing Committee, Vice Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee; leaders of the Organizing Committee, the Propaganda Committee and the Provincial Party Committee Office, along with a number of departments and branches.

On behalf of the Party Committee, government and people of Nghe An province, Provincial Party Secretary Nguyen Dac Vinh and members of the delegation offered incense to express their infinite condolences and deep gratitude for the contributions of comrade Nguyen Duc Binh - former member of the Politburo, former Chairman of the Central Theoretical Council, former Director of the Ho Chi Minh National Academy of Politics.

The funeral of comrade Nguyen Duc Binh in his hometown was solemnly held from 6:30 am on February 3. At exactly 8:30 am on the same day, the funeral was held. Comrade Nguyen Duc Binh's coffin was moved to Ru Nam Cemetery, Quynh Lam residential group, Trung Luong ward, Hong Linh town. At exactly 9 am, the funeral of comrade Nguyen Duc Binh was solemnly held.

Previously, at 7:00 a.m. on February 2, at the National Funeral Home No. 5 Tran Thanh Tong (Hanoi), the Party Central Committee, the National Assembly, the President, the Government, the Central Committee of the Vietnam Fatherland Front and the family solemnly held a memorial service and farewell ceremony for comrade Nguyen Duc Binh.

From 10:00 a.m. on February 2, the memorial service, farewell and farewell ceremony for comrade Nguyen Duc Binh was solemnly held at the National Funeral Home No. 5 Tran Thanh Tong (Hanoi). At exactly 10:30 a.m., the procession was held. At 8:00 p.m. on February 2, comrade Nguyen Duc Binh's coffin arrived back home.

Comrade Nguyen Duc Binh (birth name Nguyen Binh), born on September 9, 1927; hometown: Trung Luong commune, Duc Tho district (now Trung Luong ward, Hong Linh town), Ha Tinh province; permanent residence at house A1, lane 195B, Doi Can street, Hanoi city; participated in revolutionary activities in August 1945; joined the Party on July 1, 1946; member of the Party Central Committee of the 5th, 6th, 7th, 8th terms; member of the Politburo of the 7th and 8th terms; former: Director of the Ho Chi Minh National Academy of Politics; Chairman of the Central Theoretical Council.

During over 70 years of revolutionary activities, he made many contributions to the revolutionary cause of the Party and the nation. He was awarded the Ho Chi Minh Medal by the Party and the State, the title of Professor; People's Teacher; 70-year Party membership badge and many other noble medals and orders.

After a period of serious illness, despite the devoted care and treatment of the Party, the State, professors, doctors and family, due to old age and poor health, he passed away at 0:44 on January 31, 2019 (ie December 26, Mau Tuat year) at the 108 Central Military Hospital, Hanoi.
