Due to carelessness in using fire, the stilt house was burned down during the night.
(Baonghean.vn) - At 1:00 AM on February 9th (the 5th day of the Lunar New Year of the Pig), a house fire occurred at the residence of Mr. Moong Pho Kham, residing in Huoi Bac village, My Ly commune, Ky Son district.

The cause was determined to be negligence by the family while using a wood-burning stove for cooking, causing the fire to spread. The fire completely destroyed the two-room wooden stilt house and some other belongings and property of Mr. Kham's family. Initial estimates put the property damage at approximately 37 million VND. Fortunately, there were no casualties.
Upon receiving the report, the My Ly Border Guard Station (Nghe An Border Guard Command) promptly dispatched officers and soldiers to coordinate with the local authorities to mitigate the consequences, encourage and support Mr. Kham's family in stabilizing their lives.
