Regarding the case of female student Cao My Duyen (21 years old, in Team 5, Thanh Hung Commune, Dien Bien District, Dien Bien Province) who was murdered while delivering chicken to her mother on the afternoon of the 30th of Tet, Major General Sung A Hong - Director of Dien Bien Provincial Police said that the police have arrested suspect Vuong Van Hung; at the same time, urgently searched the house of Vuong Van Nghia - the house of Vuong Van Hung's uncle in Team 16, Noong Het Commune, Dien Bien District, Dien Bien Province. It is known that this is where suspect Hung resided from February 2 until his arrest.

On February 13, Dien Bien Provincial Police continued to coordinate with the Criminal Police Department and professional units of the Ministry of Public Security to continue clarifying doubts in the testimony of suspect Vuong Van Hung.

Colonel Trang A Tua - Deputy Director of Dien Bien Provincial Police said that up to now, through the investigation of the scene and the collected traces, the Investigation Committee has discovered that the truck of Tran Van Cong - the brother of the owner of the abandoned house - where the victim's body was found had blood stains of the unfortunate female student. The police agency has summoned Cong to clarify.

According to Colonel Trang A Tua, the victim Cao My Duyen was found without her pants, and the task force is also investigating the possibility that this female student was sexually assaulted. However, there is no scientific basis to conclude this yet. We must wait for the conclusion of the Institute of Criminal Science to conclude whether there was sexual assault or not?
