Prime Minister works with the Ministry of Planning and Investment
On the morning of February 19, Prime Minister Nguyen Xuan Phuc had a working session with the Ministry of Planning and Investment - the Ministry that is considered to have the largest volume of research and project development work among Government agencies.
Nearly 3 years ago, at the beginning of the Government's term, on April 21, 2016, Prime Minister Nguyen Xuan Phuc had a working session with the Ministry of Planning and Investment, which was also the first agency of the Government that the Prime Minister paid attention to and worked with during his term.
The Prime Minister has instructed and requested the Ministry to reform and innovate, to be an agency with strategic vision, to advise correctly and accurately on many solutions and policies for the Government in both the short and long term.

Speaking at the meeting, Minister of Planning and Investment Nguyen Chi Dung said that after 3 years of implementing the Prime Minister's direction, not only the Ministry, but also the entire planning, investment and statistics sector has had many positive changes, with many efforts, attempts, surpassing themselves, pioneering, taking the lead in excellently completing assigned tasks...
The Ministry has boldly proposed removing binding regulations that easily lead to asking and giving, group interests, in accordance with market principles such as abolishing investment registration certificates for BOT and BT projects, abolishing golf course planning...
Thanks to that, the investment and business environment continues to improve significantly, the entrepreneurial spirit develops strongly, enhancing national competitiveness, contributing significantly to the achievements in attracting foreign direct investment and registering new businesses in recent times.
As the ministry with the largest volume of research and project development work among government agencies, the Ministry of Planning and Investment has mobilized all resources to complete tasks with high quality.
According to Minister Nguyen Chi Dung, the Ministry of Planning and Investment has maintained the reform flag, always taking the lead in innovation, especially in planning work, one of the main tasks of the industry and the Ministry.
