Miss Grand International 2015 stripped of crown
Claire Elizabeth Parker had her title revoked by the Miss Grand International organization for participating in Miss Universe Australia 2019.
On the afternoon of February 22, on the contest's fanpage, the Organizing Committee announced that they had heard that Claire was participating in the Miss Universe contest in her home country, and that they had discussed and consulted with her to find a solution. After the discussion, the Australian beauty still decided to conquer the new contest.

"We completely respect her decision. Claire is determined to pursue another path, so she cannot use the title of Miss Grand International 2015 or anything related to the contest from now on." The organizing committee has not announced Claire's replacement.
Claire Elizabeth Parker was born in 1991. She won the title of 1st runner-up at the Miss Grand International 2015 contest in Bangkok, Thailand. Since March 2016, she has been a beauty queen after Anea Garcia was stripped of her crown for failing to fulfill her duties as a crowned queen and for making unreasonable demands. Claire visited Vietnam to attend the Ao Dai Beauty Pageant final in June 2016.
Miss Grand International was first held in 2013 in Thailand. The contest aims at the message "Ending war and violence", the winner will travel to many countries around the world to participate in social activities, raising public awareness about eliminating conflicts. Miss Universe has been held since 1952, is an annual beauty pageant founded by the Pacific Mills Clothing Company in California (USA). The contest belonged to Kayser-Roth, then Gulf and Western Corporation before being handed over to Mr. Donald Trump (current US President) in 1996. Currently, Miss Universe is organized by the Miss Universe organization. Contestants who win the contest will move to the US to perform their duties as a beauty queen and have many opportunities to participate in the vibrant entertainment industry in this country.
