Scientists warn of great danger from the habit of constantly changing phones!
Phones are an almost indispensable tool for each of us. However, recently scientists have issued a few warnings about people's habit of updating their phones.
2019 is considered the year of the "Periodic Table" as it marks its 150th anniversary. To celebrate this event, scientists have created a special edition periodic table, focusing on the increasing scarcity of elements used in everyday electronic devices such as phones and televisions. The revised periodic table was presented to the European Parliament on January 22 byBritish MEPs Catherine Stihler and Clare Moody.
According to himDavid Cole-Hamilton (Vice President of the European Chemical Society - EuChemS),Everything in the world is made from 90 natural elements, and phones are no exception. However, the overuse of these elements is making them increasingly scarce, and some of them will disappear worldwide within the next 100 years. This is an irreparable loss to our humanity.

According to statistics, in the European Union alone, about 10 million smartphones are replaced or worse, thrown away in one month. |
Basically, smartphones will be made up of about 30 chemical elements, 17 of which may be a concern for the future because their supply is gradually depleted and humans cannot regenerate them.
The above mentioned things have made smartphones a big risk to the world, from the perspective of scientists, when people have the habit of upgrading and replacing them within a few years or even a few months.

Also in this new periodic table, EuChemS puts special emphasis on two elements: Indium (In) and Lithium (Li). Indium is used to make screens and based on current usage, this element will become very rare after 50 years and extremely expensive.
Lithium is used in rechargeable batteries, it has the advantage of being easy to recycle, but with the current rate of exploitation, it is not surprising that this element is becoming scarce.
