Nghe An: Exciting sports tournament to celebrate 60 years of Border Guard's Traditional Day
(Baonghean.vn) - After 2 days of competition, the sports tournament with 2 events: volleyball and tug of war to celebrate the Border Guard's Traditional Day has ended.
On the afternoon of March 3, the Border Guard Command of Nghe An province organized an award ceremony for teams after the sports tournament to celebrate the 60th anniversary of the Border Guard's Traditional Day (March 3, 1959 - March 3, 2019) and the 30th anniversary of "People's Border Guard Day" (March 3, 1989 - March 3, 2019).

The tournament consisted of two events: volleyball and tug of war, which took place over two days. Seven teams participated in volleyball and six teams participated in tug of war (6 men and 4 women). The matches contributed to promoting the sports movement and improving the health of officers and soldiers.

After 2 days of exciting competition, the Organizing Committee awarded the first prize in volleyball to the General Staff team; the first prize in tug of war went to the Political - Office team.
