Comedian Xuan Hinh once revealed that the reason he rarely gives interviews about his family but frequently posts photos on Facebook is because many viewers still mistakenly think Thanh Thanh Hien is his wife.

Despite being a famous comedian, artist Xuan Hinh is very reluctant to talk about his family in the media. Xuan Hinh himself admits that many viewers still mistakenly believe Thanh Thanh Hien is his wife, and some are unsure whether he is a bachelor or has five or seven wives. That is why artist Xuan Hinh reluctantly shares pictures of his wife and children on social media.

It is known that artist Xuan Hinh's wife is Phuong Lan, a stay-at-home mother. He has a daughter named Bao Linh and a son named Xuan Quang.

"My wife used to be an accountant, but after we got married, she stayed home and did home-based accounting. Luckily, she's a capable homemaker, so I can focus entirely on my art. Whatever money I earn goes to supporting my wife and children. She takes it all. If I'm careless, she'll kick me out of the house. So, when I bring money home, I have to hand it over with both hands," artist Xuan Hinh once shared.

The "King of Northern Comedy" also added that his wife is originally from Hang Buom, Hanoi. His wife's family is heavily involved in diplomacy, so they didn't want her to marry an artist.

"But I'm sure my parents like me, and more importantly, we love each other and get along well. In my opinion, a family is one where the husband talks a lot and the wife talks little; it's not good if both sides talk too much," said comedian Xuan Hinh.

According to the comedian, he took a gamble and tried to woo his now-wife by getting to know her parents. “My parents liked me even before my wife did. So we fell in love. We dated for two years, from 1993 to 1995, then got married, and at the end of the year we had our first daughter. Now my wife and I are still happily married, I just worry that when we get old, she might suddenly kick me out of the house, saying, ‘Leave the children and everything to me,’ and then who knows what will happen?” – the comedian said humorously.
