Japanese experts promote community tourism in Ban Nua (Nghe An)
(Baonghean.vn) - Experience in community tourism from Nua village, Yen Khe commune, Con Cuong district (Nghe An) is a good tourism model currently being introduced in Japan.
Within the framework of the Young Leaders Training Program organized by the Japan International Cooperation Agency (JICA) in collaboration with the National Committee on Vietnamese Youth from March 3 to 20, in the tourist city of Yokohama, Japan, Dr. Ando Katsuhiro from Yamanashi University shared his experience in doing community tourism in Nghe An under the guidance of JICA.
It is known that Dr. Ando Katsuhiro has more than 10 years of experience guiding community tourism in Vietnam. He has just finished a term of more than 2 years working to guide and develop tourism promotion models in Con Cuong and Nam Dan districts of Nghe An province.

In the program, Mr. Ando spent most of the time introducing in detail about Nghe An tourism, community tourism in the West and especially the effectiveness of tourism in Ban Nua.
Specifically, he focused on introducing how to make and build supporting tourism products and services such as how to package orange and soy sauce specialties... according to JICA standards; how to promote the value of intangible cultural heritage of Vi Giam folk songs to serve tourism; and building community tourism maps of the region.

The tourism model of Nua village, Con Cuong district (Nghe An) was chosen by him to introduce in the training program on promotion and cooperation in knowledge creation. The introduction was translated into Japanese by him, used as a document to promote tourism in Japan and applied to the model in other provinces and cities in Vietnam.

Japanese tourists spend a lot of money and like community tourism landscapes and Nghe An culinary specialties; this is the market that Nghe An is aiming for.
