Former principal arrested for job fraud worth hundreds of millions of dong

On March 6, the Investigation Agency of Thua Thien - Hue Provincial Police announced that it had just issued a decision to prosecute the case, prosecute the accused, and temporarily detain Mr. Nguyen Xuan Hop (born in 1985, former principal of Duong Hoa Primary and Secondary School, Huong Thuy town) for fraud and property appropriation.
According to initial information, Mr. Nguyen Xuan Hop used his position as principal and had extensive relationships and acquaintances with many members of the teacher recruitment committee of the Department of Education and Training of Thua Thien - Hue province, so he "boasted" that he had the ability to get jobs for many people in the education sector.
From May to November 2018, Mr. Hop promised to find jobs for many people and then defrauded them of nearly 900 million VND. At the investigation agency, Mr. Hop initially confessed to his actions.
