Goalkeeper Vu Hai believes SLNA will enter the TOP 3 of V.League 2019
(Baonghean.vn) - Last season, Vu Hai was SLNA's number 1 goalkeeper after moving from Hai Phong on loan. The excellent performances of the goalkeeper from Ha Tinh contributed significantly to the Nghe An team's achievement of winning fourth place. Nghe An Newspaper had a conversation with this young goalkeeper.
PV: Now that you are back playing for your home team Hai Phong, do you miss SLNA?
Of course. I played for SLNA for 1 season. At Vinh Stadium, I also played football and lived with great teammates and colleagues. Currently, we still occasionally contact each other when we have free time.
Honestly, I am very grateful to SLNA. Thanks to being able to play regularly, both my skills and my competitive mentality have made visible progress.
PV: What do you think about SLNA's coaching staff?
In daily life, the teachers are very cheerful, comfortable and friendly, but in training and competition, the teachers are extremely strict. Thanks to that, the solidarity between the coaching staff and the players and between the players themselves is extremely wonderful.
SLNA is like a family. I will never forget the time I played for the Nghe An team.

PV: Which player in SLNA impressed you the most?
The person that impressed me the most was Ngoc Hai. He is truly a classy center back, a true leader. With Ngoc Hai playing in front of me, I feel much more secure. Unfortunately, he is having difficulties at his new team - Viettel. I believe Ngoc Hai will overcome it and continue to affirm his class in Viettel's shirt as well as the Vietnam National Team.
PV: After the first 3 rounds of V.League 2019, SLNA is undefeated with 2 wins and 1 draw. Are you surprised, especially in the situation where SLNA has a series of injured players?
I am not surprised by what coach Nguyen Duc Thang and his team have achieved. Entering this year's season, SLNA has made quality additions, although they could not keep central defender Ngoc Hai. In addition to Van Binh who played in the second phase of last season (on loan from FLC Thanh Hoa - PV), the Nghe An team also welcomed the return of Dinh Dong, Quang Tinh and especially captain Nguyen Manh.
Objectively speaking, SLNA this season is stronger than last season, even though the duo Van Duc - Xuan Manh are injured.

PV: So, in your opinion, can SLNA be in the TOP 3 of V.League 2019?
If they continue to play with the same form as in recent matches, the Nghe An team is fully capable of winning a position in the TOP 3 of V.League 2019.
As I mentioned above, SLNA this year is stronger than last year. Defeating them at this point is not an easy task for any team, let alone when Van Duc, Xuan Manh, The Cuong, Tuan Tai… return to compete.
PV: How do you rate the quality of SLNA's goalkeepers?
Nguyen Manh's class is unquestionable. If he is 100% healthy, Nguyen Manh is still one of the best goalkeepers in Vietnamese football. Goalkeeper Van Hung also has good skills, unfortunately he has often suffered injuries recently. As for Van Tien, he has an ideal physique, quick reflexes but needs to play more to gain experience.
