(Baonghean.vn) - With a 2-0 victory over Phu Yen U19 in the final round of the group stage this afternoon (March 13), coach Nguyen Van Tien and his team have reached the semi-finals of the 2019 National U19 Championship.

Entering the final round, U19 SLNA had a big psychological advantage as they only needed a draw to advance to the semi-finals. Right in the 8th minute, Ngo Van Luong (11) scored the opening goal for U19 SLNA in a situation where U19 Phu Yen's defense was vulnerable.

In the 28th minute, Tran Manh Quynh crossed the ball beautifully for midfielder Nguyen Van Bach to head the ball close to the goal to double the gap. In the match at the same time at Pleiku Stadium, U19 Hanoi and U19 Binh Duong played very tightly and fought throughout the first half. The tactical match lasted until the 69th minute, when Nguyen Nam Truong broke the deadlock for Hanoi.
