(Baonghean.vn) - After buying the drugs, the older sister "bargained" for a little more for her younger brother to use and to pay him for the job of having him deliver the "goods" to the transaction. However, while delivering the goods to the customer, the younger brother was arrested by the police.

On March 14, the People's Court of Nghe An province opened a first-instance criminal trial against two defendants Luong Thi Sau (born in 1968, residing in Muong Noc commune, Que Phong district) and Luong Van Bay (born in 1970, Sau's younger brother, residing in Chau Kim commune, Que Phong district) for the crime of "Illegal drug trafficking".

According to the indictment, on the afternoon of December 5, 2018, while Luong Thi Sau was at home, a man came and introduced himself as Khac (unknown address and background) and asked to buy drugs, but Sau said she did not have any and promised to inform him later.

Two days later, Sau asked a man named Meo (unknown address and background) to buy drugs. Because he did not have the money to pay immediately, Sau asked the man to lend him the money and would pay him back when he sold it. On December 9, Khac called Sau to order 3 heroin bricks, and Sau agreed.

However, because he did not dare to deliver the "goods", Sau called his younger brother Luong Van Bay to ask him to deliver it for him, and Bay agreed to split the commission.

After that, Luong Thi Sau walked up the mountain in Muong Noc commune, Que Phong district to meet Meo to get 3 heroin sticks for 13 million VND/stick and promised to pay when she finished selling. After getting the goods, Sau also asked for some more drugs for her younger brother and Meo gave her 5 small packages of heroin.

On December 10, Khac called Sau to ask to buy drugs. Sau told Khac that 3 heroin sticks cost 60 million VND. Sau called his younger brother to deliver the drugs and collect the money, but when Bay took the 3 heroin sticks to the sugarcane field in Chau Kim commune, Que Phong district to deliver the goods, he was discovered and caught red-handed by the police. Taking advantage of the loophole, the two young men quickly escaped. Based on Bay's testimony, the police arrested Luong Thi Sau.

At the trial, Luong Thi Sau and Luong Van Bay confessed to all their crimes. Based on the details of the case, the panel sentenced Luong Thi Sau to 20 years in prison and Luong Van Bay to 15 years in prison for the crime of “Illegal drug trafficking”.
