Nghe An signs tourism development cooperation agreement with Ho Chi Minh City
(Baonghean.vn) - The tourism sectors of the two localities agreed to strengthen coordination to improve the effectiveness of tourism promotion and advertising. At the same time, they will promote linkages and exploit tourism potential in each locality.
On the afternoon of March 15, Nghe An Department of Tourism and Ho Chi Minh City Department of Tourism signed the Tourism Development Cooperation Program for the period 2019 - 2025.
Summarizing the tourism development cooperation program for the period 2014 - 2018, the tourism industry of the two localities said that after 4 years of implementing the cooperation program, some results have been achieved in tourism product development, promotion, training of tourism human resources and planning, and calling for tourism investment.
The Tourism Development Cooperation Program for the period 2019 - 2025 aims to continue to promote the achieved results and step up the promotion and advertising of Nghe An tourism. In early April, the Ho Chi Minh City Department of Tourism will organize Famtrip and Presstrip groups to survey and develop tour programs to stimulate tourism to Nghe An on the occasion of the 50th anniversary of the implementation of President Ho Chi Minh's Testament (1969 - 2019). It is expected to announce and sell tour programs around May 2019 at tourism fairs, culinary festivals, and tourism events in Ho Chi Minh City and Nghe An.
