(Baonghean.vn) - Living halfway up the mountain, lacking space, the young Khmu people in the mountainous district of Ky Son had to use the small plot of land next to their stilt house to make a soccer field.

Dinh Son 2 Village (Huu Kiem Commune, Ky Son District) is home to 76 Khmu households. Located in a mountain valley, there is no playground, so every late afternoon, when they have just returned from the fields, the young men in the village take advantage of the open space in the middle of the village to play soccer.
The edge of the stilt house is taken as the longitudinal border.
The match took place in a cloud of dust.
Most of the players had no shoes and played barefoot on the gravel field.
The way to distinguish the players between the two teams is not by the color of their shirts, but by the fact that one team wears shirts and the other team goes shirtless.
The shirtless team tried to block the ball in front of the goal.
The ball flies into the house on stilts when it goes out of bounds.
This goalkeeper has only one shoe.
The audience sat under the stilt house to watch and cheer for the two teams.

Celebrating a goal. The dramatic matches really brought joy to the Khmu youth. However, playing in deprived conditions also brought many dangers.
