Russia develops new frigate carrying nearly 50 cruise missiles
(Baonghean.vn) - On March 17, a source in the manufacturing and defense sector said that Russia's Northern Design Bureau has begun developing documentation for building a modern frigate under Project 22350M capable of carrying up to 48 Kalibr cruise missiles.

The above source stated: "The Northern Design Bureau has completed the design of frigates according to Project 22350M and is currently developing the construction documents of these ships in accordance with the customer's tactical and technological orders."
The frigate has a displacement of up to 7,000 tons and is also capable of carrying Zircon hypersonic cruise missiles.
The Russian Navy has now commissioned the Admiral Gorshkov destroyer, the lead ship of Project 22350. Meanwhile, the first Admiral Kasatonov destroyer of Project 22350 is undergoing trials. These ships have a displacement of 4,500 tons, and each of these ships can carry 16 Kalibr cruise missiles./.
