Moscow has called the indictment of 25 Russians allegedly involved in “interference” in the US election a “disgrace to the judiciary”.

The Russian Foreign Ministry should make the above statement on March 25 after the US side publishes the report of special prosecutor Robert Mueller.

Mueller's two-year investigation into Trump's alleged collusion with Russia to interfere in the 2016 US election concluded that the US President did not commit any crime. US Attorney General William Barr said prosecutors also did not find enough evidence to charge President Trump with obstruction of justice.

Trump has repeatedly denied the allegations, criticizing the investigation as a "witch hunt" and a "conflict of interest." Russia has also denied the allegations, calling the US election interference allegations "ridiculous," "politically motivated" and "a shameful farce."

"As for the documents prepared last year to somehow justify the useless work of a huge investigative brigade, the charges against 25 Russian citizens are simply ridiculous. The political motives of this case are so obvious that it cannot be described in any other way than as a disgrace to the US judiciary," the Russian Foreign Ministry said in a statement.
