On March 27, Division 324 held a conference to summarize 20 years of implementing Directive No. 36/ĐUQSTW dated February 23, 1999 of the Standing Committee of the Central Military Party Committee (now the Central Military Commission) on "Strengthening leadership and direction of the Army in carrying out religious work in the new situation".

The report at the conference showed that in recent years, agencies and units have coordinated with local Party committees, authorities, departments, branches and organizations in the stationed areas to organize 250 propaganda and mobilization sessions with over 93,000 parishioners on the Party's guidelines and policies, the State's laws, local regulations; views on religion and implementation of the Party and State's religious policies.
At the same time, participating in activities to build local religious facilities with many rich contents and forms, especially organizing 406 field trips to do mass mobilization work, of which 32 were carried out in religious areas of 3 provinces Thanh Hoa, Nghe An, Ha Tinh... with more than 31,200 cadres and soldiers participating.

At the conference, opinions expressed showed that in recent years, the Party Committee of Division 324 has had many policies and leadership measures with quality and effectiveness, closely following the requirements and tasks of the unit and the characteristics of each locality; awareness of the role and responsibility of Party committees, commanders at all levels, cadres and soldiers regarding religion and implementation of religious work has been raised.
In addition, coordinate with local Party committees and authorities to firmly grasp religious activities, promptly and thoroughly resolve complicated incidents that arise, contributing to defeating all plots and tricks of hostile forces that take advantage of religious beliefs to sabotage our country's revolution, maintaining political security and social order and safety in the stationed areas.
