(Baonghean.vn) - The initial cause of the murder has been determined to be jealousy on the part of Hoang Dinh Nam, who suspected Mr. Dong of having an affair with his wife, leading him to kill him.
On the afternoon of March 28, the Criminal Investigation Agency of Nam Dan District Police announced that it had handed over the case file and suspect Hoang Dinh Nam (born in 1963), residing in Yen Khanh Hamlet, Nam Dan Town - the main suspect in the murder case that occurred in Hamlet 11, Nam Giang Commune (Nam Dan) - to the Criminal Police Department of Nghe An Province for further investigation according to their jurisdiction.

According to initial information, the incident occurred at approximately 2 PM on the same day in a parking lot in Hamlet 11, Nam Giang Commune. Hoang Dinh Nam used a sharp knife to repeatedly stab Bui Huu Thanh Dong (born in 1954), a resident of Nam Dan Town. The stab wounds were severe and struck vital areas, causing the victim to lose a large amount of blood and die instantly.
After committing the crime, the suspect Nam fled the scene.
Immediately after receiving the information, the Nam Dan District Police, in coordination with the Nam Giang Commune Police and the Criminal Police Department of Nghe An Province, organized a raid. Knowing he could not escape, Nam surrendered to the investigating agency.
