Nghe An promotes opening direct flights to Japan

According to sources from Nghe An Newspaper, currently, the provincial authorities are surveying and promoting the opening of a direct flight route from Vinh to Japan.
This is considered a very potential market. Currently, there are tens of thousands of Nghe An people studying, working and traveling in Japan. Nghe An is also an attractive destination for tourists and investors from Japan.
Currently, Vinh International Airport is operating 7 domestic routes, with an average of 26 flights per day. The airport is also operating the Vinh – Bangkok international route, operating the newly built international terminal.
Regarding international transport management, the Transport sector is currently operating 177 fixed passenger transport routes, including: 38 intra-provincial routes, 132 inter-provincial routes, 7 Vietnam - Laos inter-transport routes, and 16 bus routes. In the first 3 months of 2019, the Traffic Inspectorate, through inspections, revoked badges and did not reissue them for the next 6 months for 3 violating vehicles; revoked badges for 1 month for 44 vehicles and warned 74 vehicles due to speeding violations. In the first quarter of 2019, the Department of Transport issued and renewed nearly 11,000 transport business badges of all kinds; issued 2,520 Vietnam - Laos inter-transport licenses.
