Nghe An's hometown team won the Ichiyou Cup in Japan
(Baonghean.vn) - After two dramatic rounds in the final match and the winner and loser were determined by a penalty shootout, the Nghe An Association football team won the Ichiyou Cup 2019 in Japan.

Ichiyou Cup Football Tournament is a playground for Vietnamese children living, working and studying in Japan, organized by Ichiyou FC Club.
The Ichiyou Cup 2019 is part of the annual cultural and sports exchange activities of the Vietnamese community in Japan. The tournament takes place over 1 day with 16 participating teams.

On the afternoon of March 31, at Toyotashi Stadium in Aichiken province, the final match took place between the Nghe An - 37 Nagoya team and the Bac Trung Nam team. After two dramatic halves with a score of 0 - 0, the two teams had to decide the winner by a penalty shootout.
In the end, the Nghe An - 37 Nagoya team won the championship. In addition, player Truong Duc Trong of the 37 Nagoya team was also honored to win the title of Best Player.
