Central Organizing Committee: Immediately carry out the review and screening of party members

On January 21, 2019, the Secretariat issued Directive 28-CT/TW on improving the quality of admission and reviewing, screening, and removing unqualified party members from the Party.

Accordingly, at point 4 of Directive 28, it is stated: In the immediate future, from now until May 19, 2019, Party committees and organizations will conduct a review of Party members, thereby clarifying Party members who have not fulfilled their tasks, Party members who have not properly implemented the transfer regime or have transferred Party activities but have not submitted their documents to the competent Party organization, Party members who have violated Party discipline and State laws, Party members who are not exemplary and have low prestige among the people, thereby selecting and removing from the Party Party members who are no longer qualified.

Recently, there were opinions from provincial Party committees asking the Central Organizing Committee to inform them whether Party committees and organizations should immediately implement the Directive based on it or wait for the Central Organizing Committee's guidance because this is new content.

Regarding this issue, at the recent online conference of the Party Building Organization sector, the Central Organizing Committee said that the above direction of the Secretariat was very specific, so Party committees and organizations at all levels should immediately review and screen Party members in their Party cells and Party committees according to the above contents.
